TRAINING VEHICLES
Chevron Driving School provides late model manual and automatic cars that are clean and tidy, well-maintained and fully insured. Sit back and relax as all cars are air-conditioned and have tinted windows for your comfort.
All training vehicles are fitted with dual controls for maximum safety. An extra rear-view mirror is also fitted on the instructor’s side to increase road vision.
Queensland Transport inspects driver training vehicles annually to ensure the dual controls work properly and the vehicle operations are in good working order. Unfortunately not all vehicles can be modified to enable dual controls to be fitted to the standard required for driver training. Therefore, the choice of car makes and models suitable for driver training is quite limited.
Our training vehicles are easily recognised by the green and gold roof top sign. L plates are prominently displayed on the front and back of each training vehicle.
Our manual cars include:
- Mazda 3 SP23 Hatch 2.3L 2006 – Black
- Toyota Corolla Levin 1.8L 2006 - Silver
- Toyota Corolla Ascent Hatch 1.8L 2006 – Silver
- Suzuki Grand Vitara 3 door 2.4L 2009 - Grey
Passing your driving test in a manual car enables you to drive both manual and automatic cars.
Our automatic cars include:
- Mazda 3 SP23 Hatch 2.3L 2007 – Silver
- Toyota Corolla Levin Hatch 1.8L 2005 - Silver
- Suzuki Swift Hatch 1.5L 2007 – Black
Passing your driving test in an automatic car enables you to drive automatic cars only.
